Introduction
Welcome to DMusic’s 2005 Summer Battles. First of all, I promise a 100% fair tournament run by the administrative staff. No one running this tournament will be entered in it.

This is an AUDIO battle tournament, NOT TEXT. This will be a 24 opponent tournament that will last 4 rounds. Each round will last 7 days. The battles will be one on one until the final round. The final round will be a 3 way free for all, for all the prizes (still pending).

Tournament Rules
1. All opponents must post verses with the same name that they signed up for the tournament with. If you don't, your opponent may have you disqualified.

2. All opponents must post their verses by the specified due date and time. No extensions will be given for any reason. If there is a problem with your music site then upload your track here to me (dizeazedmc@hotmail.com) until your site is back up. If you post any time past the due date (even 1 minute) it will be up to your opponent whether your verse will count. There will be no exceptions to this rule.

3. All verses must be within the specified time limit. This includes your entire track, not just the verse itself. If your track runs over the time limit your opponent may have you disqualified.

Battle Time Limits
Round 1: 1 Min. - 3 Min.
Round 2: 1 Min. - 3 Min.
Round 3: 1 Min. - 3 Min.
Finals: 3 Min. - 6 Min.

4. All opponents must vote on at least 3 battles each round, as well as explain with modorate detail as to why their vote was cast. Please don't make me enforce this. Just vote on the battles so we can keep the tournament moving.

5. There will be NO BEEFING OR VOTE SWAYING in the track comments. If you aren't voting or giving feedback, you have NO business posting in the track comments. If you have beef, take it to the Battle Forum. If you have problems, note Dizeazed and/or your opponent. All beef, vote swaying, etc will be deleted.

6. Voters must have AT LEAST 200 “user posts” to vote, unless they are in the tournament. There is no number of votes to seal a victory. Votes will last until the specified date, regardless...

Tournament Schedule
Each round will have the same schedule:

Battles Posted: Tuesday Night (After 10 PM PST)
[July: 5, 12, 19 & 26]
Verses Due: Sunday (NO LATER THEN 11:59 PM PST)
[July: 10, 17, 24 & 31]
Voting Ends: Tuesday Evening (10 PM PST)
[July: 12, 19, 26 & Aug. 2]

How to vote
If you’re not quite sure what I mean by “vote” on a battle… Here is an example of what a GOOD, quality “vote” looks like, from another site:

Emcee #1 - A good flow, not the best I’ve heard from you though, where’s that murderous untouchable shit you're able to pump over a vicious beat, homie?, Either way its still hot, a little bit more laid back than usual, still got that sarcastic humor in it lol… Some good lines, the matrix ones I’ve heard a lot though, but the screwdriver line was good, and you had some nice personals in here lol, like Emcee #2 is really a computer repairman, that shit made me laugh.... and the bux beat, well maybe not bux's beat, I remember him rocking it vs Cadera or someone though, is hot as hell… Overall you came nice, not the best I’ve heard from you though. I always seem to enjoy that vicious shit from you more for some reason, nice verse though.

Emcee #2 - WTF @ the guns n roses ish, is that really Emcee #1? hahahaha, he’s crazy...actually he’s killing it though......*shrugs*, beat is hot as fuck.....Flow is a little more laid back on your part as well, Emcee #1 edged u on the emotion n flow part, some good personals though lol, that’s enough of gollum tell frodo to go free her lol, lmao @ the pizza part, don’t ask me why, but that part reminded me of ill Chris for some reason, bukake line is straight… Flip his own name line was good too, u had alot of humorous shit, you both did, this shit is hard as fuck to vote on in all honesty...

#1 edged #2 in some important categories, and #2 took it in some important ones as well, as in the hotter type of beat, his personals made me laugh more and seemed just a bit more creative and brought it pretty nice. I’m gonna let these verses play out a few more times…
After close review, I’m gonna toss this to #2. Though I think #1 brought a much more cleaner, crisp type of edge… #2 impressed me enough with his creativity and punches to get my vote.

I’m gonna toss it to him, sick ass battle fellas!....
